SEKAI HOTEL is not just a hotel, but a concept itself that aims to improve the value of “ORDINARY”,

believing anywhere in Sekai (world) can be a travel destination, even places like Nishikujo or Fuse, Japan’s ordinary small town.

As mentioned before, Nishikujo is just a regular small town in Osaka. But that’s exactly what makes it so special and interesting. Here, you can experience everyday life in Japan. You can walk around the neighborhood and meet one of the many stray cats. You can go to the public bath and enjoy a hot bath with your friends. Or you can go to an Izakaya and talk to some of the regular customers while having delicious sake. The opportunities are endless and the experiences unforgettable.

What is SEKAI PASS?

The purpose of SEKAI PASS is to understand ORDINARY more deeply.

By using SEKAI PASS, you can become a member of the local community. You can go to an Izakaya, show your SEKAI PASS and you will immediately be welcomed warmly and get to interact with the locals. On top of that, you can also receive different benefits at our partner shops around SEKAI HOTEL. SEKAI PASS is what enables our customers to experience our concept deeply.
You will receive your SEKAI PASS at check-in and can use it until you leave. You will furthermore receive a map of all of our partner shops in Nishikujo to get around the area more easily.

How to use SEKAI PASS

To show you how to exactly use SEKAI PASS, I went to Takoyaki Santa, one of our popular partner shops in Nishikujo.

First, I hand in my SEKAI PASS to the shop owner and order my Takoyaki.

After checking my SEKAI PASS, the owner starts preparing the Takoyaki. I wonder what kind of delicious Takoyaki I will get to eat this time.

The Takoyaki are finished! The owner hands me my hot Takoyaki. They look so tasty!

These Takoyaki are Santa’s most popular ones, with a special sauce, mayonnaise and bonito flakes as a topping.

What’s special about Santa’s Takoyaki is that they have a secret ingredient. Can you figure out what ingredient differs from other Takoyaki shops?

Santa provides its customers with a small eating area, so you can enjoy your Takoyaki immediately. Be careful, however. You might burn your tongue.

I always talke with the shop owner while enjoying my Takoyaki, because he is really nice and always makes sure to give his customers a fun and pleasant time.

As you can see, it’s really easy to use SEKAI PASS at one of our partner shops.
